I was just thinking about the trip that Kris and I took this past summer and I wanted to share with y’all. So here it is…Kris and I went on a road trip this past summer. We went to Vernon, BC, Washington and Oregon. It was such a blast (it helps that I was with my best friend, and no honey I am not talking about the dog…I am talking about you).
Well, we have decided that we love Washington…everyone kept telling us how much we would love the Oregon coast…but the real gem of the trip was our tie driving though Washington. The majestic trees and being able to basically drive on the side of a cliff and the monstrous interstates were all amazing. I would take another trip there again…I would even move there, it is like Alberta, but on a much larger scale, it would be interesting.
Kris is holding some fresh blackberries that we picked one morning when we woke up from our restless slumber in our Jeep! I was not a big fan, of sleeping in the Jeep that is. The other large one is of the Space Needle in Seattle…past our Jeep and past the road and trees there it is…I really liked this place, all you could see was old buildings and road and foliage (which I love) and the famous Space Needle. The one at the bottom is one of Kris when were were at the Pike Place Market…there was this place where you were outside and you would look out to Puget Sound. This photo is of Kris looking out at that very view…it was interesting how many cranes there were out in the water. And then there is the photograph of me (which there are few of, because I like to be the one taking the pictures, not to have them taken of me), Chloe is cuddling with me in my lap and I am enjoying the first view of the ocean that we got on that trip.
